Responsibilities include

Played major roles in Equate Petrochemicals plant start up.
Maintenance and troubleshooting of various electrical equipment, such as: low and medium voltage motors (Synchronous and Induction), generators, transformers, and switch-gear (415 V, 3.3 kV, 6.6 kV, and 11 kV).
Maintenance and troubleshooting of other electrical apparatus such as U.P.S systems, Battery Chargers, Batteries, AC Variable speed drives, and D.C Variable speed drives.
Installation, testing, commissioning, and acceptance of new electrical equipment such as Motors, Synchronous and Induction, generators, U.P.S…etc.
Control circuit design and implementation including protection circuits.
Maintaining the integrity of the electrical system of the plants.
Spare part assessment, procurement, and ordering.
Planning for preventive maintenance schedules.
Ensuring safe operation of the electrical equipment for the protection of personnel and equipment.
Training of electrical technicians and new engineers.
Knowledgeable in European (IEC) and American electrical standards, NEMA and IEEE, including Hazardous area classifications.
Responsible for the electrical units in polyethylene and ethylene glycol plants.
Participated in various types of DSR and PSSR operations (Design Safety Review and Pre Startup Safety Review).
